On March 14, Baosteel Co., Ltd. stated on the interactive platform that its parent company, China Baowu, has recently launched the "2526" project and has completed the local deployment of the "full-blooded" version of DeepSeek R1. At the same time, it has achieved initial integration and application with Baowu's steel industry large model. As one of the pilot units, Baosteel Co., Ltd. has taken the lead in participating in the pilot application of the steel industry large model and the generative assistant. 

Since the company launched the "AI+" strategy last year, it has collaborated with several well-known large model manufacturers. Currently, it has achieved initial results in the application of large models in iron-making blast furnaces and hot-rolling production. Looking ahead to 2025, the company will further deepen the application of large model technology in core areas such as business decision-making, product quality, and production control, promoting management transformation and industrial upgrading, and injecting intelligent impetus into achieving high-quality development.
